The best thing about hangovers getting worse and worse as you get older and closer to death – is that the blackout portion of being wasted gets more and more common…allowing me to almost really forget how much of an asshole I am…
I just have snapshots of the night that started with young Swedish girls who are randomly in the bar traveling through who were creeped out by me – to some guy showing me his dick in the middle of the place….for no reason to the Australian chick who I somehow convinced to leave her really thuggish boyfriend to walk home with me…only to be chased down by him three blocks over when he caught me fingering her…but instead of punching me in the face, he just started to cry….while I stumbled back home – falling into the middle of the street more than once…like a graceful drunken dancer sent from heaven….a drunken angel…who ruins other people’s nights and relationships while bringing great joy to himself…only to forget everything brilliant I am sure I said…leaving me with nothing….
