As a Canadian, I am neither hear nor there on Trump winning presidency, it’s old news and it amazes me that people are still obsessed and complain about it, while knowing he will likely win another term….

But what I do find fascinating about the whole thing, is how dumb people are when it comes to the internet…

I forget that I’ve been on the internet since 1995, I got over my internet addiction, you know spending hours and hours chatting and being sleazy and hilarious with people by 2000 or 2002, after 5 years of obesession, internet girlfriends, sexting, finding new girls to talk to, watching porn only to spend the next 16-18 years on the internet, but not on the internet like basic idiots all excited with the access to others and to information, but rather on the internet running this idiotic site…

So to me, my knowledge of how things work, is what I think common knowledge, forgetting that people are fucking idiots…

I would say that at least daily, one of my old timer friends who was never on the internet until the last 5-10 years, sends me an article that is totally fake or random shit, from sources like “entertainment today inside edition”…sometimes it’s health facts, new pills for weight loss, or other fully fabricated nonsense…and these motherfuckers believe it…and when I tell them it is fake news they say “but I saw the Shark Tank Episode They Were On”….and I was like “It never happened, you probably saw this ad or fake news three or for times programming you to think you saw the TV show they are claiming to have been on, because the interent is a fucking scam filled with scammers”…

I remember SPAM, penis improvement, super sketchy and unregulated shit…I remember identity fraud, people getting raped and killed, and seeing people putting out their life stories or sending me bullshit links…just fucking blows my mind…

I don’t leave my house – if you can even call it a house – pretty much ever.

I don’t go to the strip clubs, or the night clubs, or the bars I once used to get drunk at- because people are the fucking worst and it’s far more convenient to get drunk in the comfort of my home – if you can even call it a home – it’s pretty fucking disgusting in here…

It is no mystery that Coachella is a mainstream, commercialized experience, for all the idiots who want to get instagram footage.

The acts are top tier acts, it’s radio music, the concert version, where all these basic as fuck humans congregate and try to be as relevant as each other at the relevant place…

Which is fine, mainstream has always existed, it just that these people don’t realize they are mainstream idiots, and think they are part of some exclusive club.

I was triggered when I saw the Walmart Yodeling kid at Coachella, something I would have expected, but reminded of how the internet is a pile of dog shit of a place where the mainstream became everything….

Obviously the yodeling kid was a viral stunt, that went viral, people loved it for whatever reason. Walmart gave the kid a concert. Ellen booked the kid, despite being a lesbian who America loves, and you’d assume it would die down and be over…

Instead, he opened Coachella and all the attendees went nuts, the internet left it’s mark and Memes are now on stage at shows….for people to go nuts because they brushed shoulders, were in the same room as the yodeling kid they saw in a youtube video…

It is crazy….and people are getting real rich based on the universal access to the internet….it’s almost too easy to troll these people and get paid…

In my era, you’d go viral amongst a group of cool people, and eventually get to the Music festival level, where more people would discover you, and eventually, after sucking dick and selling out, you’d end up on the talk show circuit being a washed up hollywood fuck none of your original fans respected.

Now, they get ironic or bring the Meme to life after Walmart and Ellen beat you to the punch, while you’re marketed as some progressive and hip event for the millennials, even if all the people I see at the event are 45 fucking years old…
