February 3, 2005 — PRODUCTION on Lindsay Lohan’s new movie, “Just My Luck,” is a mess, with some insiders claiming the flame-haired actress is behaving as badly on the New Orleans set as she reportedly did during the filming of “Herbie: Fully Loaded.”
On-set sources say Lohan missed work on Tuesday and that her late nights at New Orleans college bars The Boot and Club 360 have “made her late to the set” several times. However, Lohan’s rep counters that Lohan “was sick and left the set early — but she did show up! She had an earache and her stomach was bothering her.” (Lohan also fell ill on the set of “Herbie” and had to be hospitalized).
Lohan supporters say the problems on the “Luck” set are not the teen queen’s fault.
Early this week, the head cinematographer on the flick, listed by imdb.com as Anastas Michos, was fired, sources said, and the cast, including Lohan, Samaire Armstrong and Tovah Feldshuh have been “working 16-hour shifts — it’s crazy.”
And although fun-loving Lohan, 18, partied all night in New York last Saturday, she still made it for a W magazine shoot early Sunday morning.
“She stayed at the Hotel Gansevoort,” said our source. “Lindsay and her family went to dinner at Ono and then she and her friends went to Marquee at around 2 a.m. and danced all night.”
On Sunday night, Lohan flew back to New Orleans and arrived at work promptly on Monday.
Lohan’s team, sensing things were not right and wanting some legal backing after the press beating she took during “Herbie: Fully Loaded,” have asked for and received glowing letters from producers about Lohan’s behavior on set.
The most recent letter from one producer reads: “We had a really rough week, we are almost done with the masquerade ball. Lindsay was a great trouper. We are having some problems in one area but [director] Donald [Petrie] and [Fox] are working hard to fix it.
“This hopefully will help us cut down the long hours . . . And our apologies again to Lindsay.”
A pal of Lohan said, “Lindsay is being blamed for everything because she is the easiest target.”

Lohan’s father wants half of wife’s cut of daughter’s millions
February 3, 2005, 5:54 AM EST
NEW YORK (AP) _ The father of actress-singer Lindsay Lohan responded Wednesday to his estranged wife’s filing of divorce papers, saying he wants half of the 15 percent the movie starlet allegedly gives her mother _ a figure that could be as much as $6-$7 million a year, his lawyer said.
Michael Lohan also said he wants Dina Lohan and other members of her family to undergo drug and alcohol testing and claimed that despite past problems with substance abuse, he is currently clean and sober.
“He is not an alcoholic, he is not a drug addict,” attorney Dominic Barbara said at a press conference at his office on Long Island. “He loves his children, he doesn’t want to hurt Lindsay in any way.”
Barbara, whose high-profile clients have included Joey Buttafuoco and church secretary Jessica Hahn, said he called the press conference after being rebuffed by Dina Lohan’s attorneys about a possible divorce settlement.
“I think these people are very foolish not wanting to talk,” Barbara said.
He contended his client is entitled to half of the earnings the actress-singer gives to her mother.
Lohan, 18, recently released her debut album, “Speak,” and has starred in “Parent Trap,” “Mean Girls,” “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” and “Freaky Friday.”
Barbara said he also represents Lohan in a number of criminal prosecutions.
He is due in court in Suffolk County next week to answer charges from last summer that he allegedly skipped out on a $3,800 bill for several suites at a posh Long Island hotel. He also was charged with assault in Manhattan for allegedly swearing at a sanitation worker whose truck was blocking his car and punching him in the face.
“I tried to do this amicably,” Lohan said at Wednesday’s press conference. “I didn’t want this to happen.”
Dan Klores, a spokesman for Dina Lohan, said, “There’s no point in dignifying the desires of a convicted felon who the court has already demanded stay away from his wife and children.”
