It amazes me that people don’t realize that shit they buy is made in China….I heard there’s some uprising against some “Fast Fashion” company like an H&M or Forever 21, you know one of those “stylish but cheap shit so girls can have multiple outfits for their influencing”….but yeah…there’s an uprising that the owner is a billionaire and the products are made in Chinese Sweatshops…
You may be asking why I care or why I’d write about fast fashion, especially in this world of up-cycle, you know buying vintage shit and sewing it together into new overpriced outfits…it is not because my first internet business being an ebay shop in 1999 or 2001 where I’d by Polo/Lacoste shirts for 2 dollars and sell them to bro’s for 20. It lasted a few weeks despite being lucrative, I’m a drunk with no car, I can’t sustain something like that…
It is because the idiot generation of protestors and activists who are burning down cities and ruining people’s lives by publicly shaming them in some evil “court of public appeal” bullshit…don’t realize that the clothing they bought the last 5-10 years, before it was seen as bad for the environment is made in toxic Chinese factories and shipped to them on diesel ships so they can benefit from cost savings…only now they are mad about it?
So people that were so daft and trend following that they bought into fast fashion and made billionaires off made in China shit, didn’t know it was made in China shit that was killing the environment and now they are mad…despite EVERY item having a “made in china” tag…
I mean, we’re dealing with some real idiots around here….but at least they show off their tits.
Thank God Uncle Ben is no longer the proud owner of a Rice Brand, that was arguably Black Empowering back when they launched as Racist Whites wouldn’t buy the “black brand”….because from my perspective Uncle Ben was a friendly Rice Farmer…never did I think he was some slave…or whatever makes him racist…and being a black entrepreneur was a postiive…yet all these white people see it as racist…because they are racist…
