If everyone just decided to stop using facebook or instagram and twitter, we’d live in a better world. I have been convinced social media is the fucking devil upon us…and funny enough, we have the power to totally end that business. It happened to Myspace, it can happen again….
Problem is….no on really cares to stop using social media, they are too addicted to the likes, follows and soapboxes they like to think give them a voice and some, if eager enough, can figure out how to go viral with it and live their dream life of PODCASTER….
I get the interest, the appeal, why people are addictive, it’s just too bad people care…and people buy into it because it’s mainstream crap.
Early internet were weird pods of weird communities in weird corners of the internet….not one big site everyone used, because it had something for everyone, giving one company too much power over the world population….to FUCK with our heads..
I am not convinced ZUCK isn’t an AI cartoon, but assuming he was real, he likely had zero friends, hence launching FB, where he’d angrily overlord all those people from the bitterness in his autistic soul from not being popular or getting laid in High School….”I’ll show them”….since everything social media has become is fucking psychotic…
