Phoebe Price is a pretty amazing creature sent from heaven and I am pretty mad that I basically forgot that she existed, because she’s a fucking phenomenon.
Before there was social media, where these lazy ZOOMERS could get famous from the comfort of their own homes, from streaming or podcasting or taking pics of their buttholes, there was a unique breed of fame that I would say Phoebe price dominated….
It’s that she ever became a household name, but that didn’t stop her from thinking that she did, while actively seeking out the paparazzi in the paparazzi era to capture her in some ridiculous outfit.
She basically was trolling the people, or maybe that’s just her big personality, doing what she could to get noticed, shot, published in the tabloids like she mattered….and it made for pretty entertaining low level content.
She didn’t really translate to social media so well, but she was doing this 5 minutes or 15 minutes of shamelessness for a decade before the platforms even existed….
Now that she’s come to terms with social media, it seems like she’s mastered the platform to the best of her ability, taking that wanting to be famous to her content, putting it out to the ether, hoping to be found, noticed or at least watched the way she obviously thinks she deserves to be watched.
I think the whole thing is delusional and I don’t even believe in mental health as a concept, I think it’s fake….unless she knows she’s not really anyone and just does this to keep the dream alive…
Either way, she’s not hurting anyone in the process, except maybe her dog who she kicked in one of the videos.
It’s just so fucking weird and nostalgic….so perfect!
