There is a pretty hilarious cancel culture story that happened in Canada recently, involving some head of the Canadian military, who I assumed was a beaver in a cute army helmet, but turns out to be a real person…

Anyway, I don’t know the details but the person had to resign for some MeToo nonsense, that may have been real systemic sexism and abuse towards women, and the dude may have been a piece of shit…none of that really matter because he was accused of sexual misconducts and is no longer employed.

You know maple syrup makes a man in power want what he otherwise couldn’t get I guess…blame the maple…and the way it makes you treat beavers…it’s the old Canadian philosophy…

Anyway, we can all agree that men being perverts who can’t control their perversion and use their position of power to assault women and pay no real consequences is not a good thing… so his being fired without being formally charged is understandable especially now…..

Where it gets crazy is his two army buddies went golfing with him, the public freaked out…”how could you be friends with a man who was accused of being a pervert who abused his power”….ok…..

Now those people are resigning, for golfing, with a guy who was forced to quit his job due to misconduct…

The outrage of society who are not even involved in the “Scandal” has led to at least one of the Golfing buddies to quit his Military job…for golfing with someone they blacklisted and put into exile…

These are probably people who still watch Woody Allen and Roman Polanski movies….don’t cancel actors who have been in Woody Allen movies…but for some reason, they aren’t happy until the cancelled are cancelled by everyone, so they can die alone and hated and forgotten in exile like they deserve, which is fucking crazy.

Not to mention, these are the same people who build monuments for criminals who were killed by police for being criminals….

If I’m friends with someone who does shitty things to other people but that doesn’t do shitty things to me, and that I am not affected by the shitty things he does, then why the fuck should I exile him especially when he’s not charged with any crime…

Because the internet wants me to?

The internet is a collective group of idiots who don’t understand real life, real relationships, and oftentimes the law…they are also inconsistent as fuck in their activism, because they say one thing, contradict themselves with another, it’s all really just a matter of convenience…

But for some reason, corporations listen to the collective, thinking the 5% of haters they are trying to appease will be good for business, while the 95% of us don’t give a fuck….

So the fact these dudes who golfed with the accused or the canceled are now resigning..or being cancelled….for golfing with their old friend and colleague..is lunacy….

Golfing with someone isn’t condoning their behavior…but it’s probably a more positive way to help them rehab than to push them to Suicide.

I know that having people support you through dark times is likely a good thing…the human thing…parents still love their mass shooter kids…people do dumb shit doesn’t mean we all have to hate them for it forever….

But everyone’s an idiot…more on that later….
