Detroit Residents Being Sued for Illegally Downloading Porn
Across Metro Detroit, people are getting letters in the mail, claiming they’ve downloaded pornographic movies illegally. It’s a legitimate copyright lawsuit, and the settlements can be as high as $5,000 per movie. In a federal lawsuit filed in December, NuCorp, Ltd. claims 240 people in Michigan illegally downloaded their movies.

Woman Hatched Plot To Murder Fur Wearers
Meredith Lowell, 27, of Cleveland Heights was indicted for solicitation of murder after the FBI said she tried to hire a hit man to kill a random person wearing fur in what she was calling a ‘protest.’ “She wanted to hire someone for money, somebody to go out and murder somebody with a fur coat on, anybody with a fur coat,� said FBI Special Agent Scott Wilson.
