The highlight of my weekend that was only technically a weekend because the rest of the world calls is that, while for me it’s like every other day of doing nothing…thanks to being unemployed…was not when I was in line behind two rich kid 10 year olds buying cake at the coffee shop…only to negotiate with the coffee shop worker because their bill was $20.40 and they didn’t want to break their 50….only to have the coffee shop worker, who probably wasn’t going to make 50 dollars that day of working…take the 40 cents out of her tip jar…to cover their rich kid asses like an idiot…instead of teaching these pricks about sacrifices…and breaking a fucking 50.
Those kids have already won at life…already better at business, negotiation, and richer than me…I would have found that depressing…but I gave up caring long ago..
