I love reading stories about dudes who were on the early internet and saw the bright future it would provide, so they bought up URLs when they were basically free, and built out websites before websites were a thing, and made millions…or billions…while I was an early enough (1994) internet user who used the internet daily, hours a fucking day talking to fucking weirdos and doing all kinds of random things on the internet…none of those random things was making the internet money or paving the future that was about to hit, just trolling forums…for 10 fucking years before figurung out how to start a free “blogspot”….that I put an amazon affiliate ad on, before being kicked off of the amazon affiliate program because they didn’t like giving me commission on books I sold to perverts through celebrity nudity while I could have theoretically been amazon…

It’s always nice to reflect on those years when I embraced new technology but didn’t bother figuring out how to monetize it before the massed ran to it and destroyed it for everyone…

You know…good to feel those lost opportunities deep within my soul to keep me feeling like a loser to continue carrying this site…otherwise all this internet fame would get to my head and I’d be like a YOUTUBER fucking Josie Canseco or some shit.
