I find it pretty amazing that I was mentioned in this WIRED article on the death of CollegeHumor.

Does that mean I actually still exist?

I thought I died to social media LONG ago but was just too stubborn to officially die.

Does that mean I’m the last idiot in a dying breed of “Websites”….the concept of a website and not a Social Media Account Zuckerberg owns is just crazy to the new generation, but to me it’s crazy to NOT have a website and to rely on Zuck’s platform, or Googles, or whatever.

Anyway – they referred to my old Twitter that got deleted @drunkstepfather but you know what…it feels good to be in a MAINSTREAM MEDIA article like it was 2008 again….

The truth is that CollegeHumor is a big part of the reason this site exists. When I first started 15 years ago, before I knew how to put an image in a post, they’d send 10,000 people to my shitty post. This carried the site for the first year. Years later they ran some T-shirt ads on the site. So that first iteration of CollegeHumor is huge.

I realize the article isn’t ABOUT me, they barely got my name right, but this is the biggest thing to happen to me since getting first picked up by CollegeHumor back in 2004.
