It finally happened. Suprnova.org and Torrentbits.org, two of the best websites for BitTorrent files have shut down. No concrete reasons for shutting down were given other than no longer being able to keep the sites up. This past week has seen the MPAA and RIAA taking extreme measures to shut down servers hosting Torrent files, but many people assumed that sites like Suprnova would not targeted. Fuck!

Suprnova.org may be back soon, but not how it looks today. Apparently, the guys at Suprnova are working on a new P2P program called eXeem, which is now being beta tested by a select group of users. The program will be akin to file-sharing programs like Kazaa, and will be a decentralized source for bittorrent files.
