She was raped in a time when you had to actually be raped to say you were raped. You know after work at the mall when some creep who had been watching you that day, or week, decides to go through with it. She was raped at the store she worked at and got a cash settlement for their wrong doing…back when rape didn’t really make the news…and things didn’t get cancelled….before rape became a culture and everyone wanted to have a rape story to fit into that culture.
I think that makes her a more compelling person than victims of today…you know cuz she surived and doesn’t whine about it like all the college girls and Weinstein victims….because I guess when you’ve ACTUALLY been raped, you have a different approach to moving on with your life..than trying to make it your being, your claim to fame, your dialog, you personal brand…
