I never heard of the SoapGirls, but I saw these pics of their concerts that they strip down topless at, and thought, I can see past how cheesy they are and appreciate their feminist punk strategy, even if it is simplistic and calculated and hardly punk, it is still two sisters naked together on stage making accessible “punk” pop music….
I looked up the SoapGirls on instagram and all I found was some girl who sells homemade soap…but then I found their website and according to their website:
“these fearless French born sisters Millie and Mie, have slayed critics”
“The SoapGirls are society’s rejects”
“The SoapGirls write outsider anthems that are androgynous, audacious and straight from the heart.”
This is what their concert looks like….looks good to me….cuz tits override try hard shamelessness every fucking day…
I support this kind of behavior….despite not listening to how bad the actual music is cuz if you’ve turned on the radio you know music has no integrity, it is all an attempt to get seen amongst all the clutter and tits give you the easiest and best shot at that…
