I just watched the Academy Awards, even though I hate Hollywood and the Academy Awards celebrating people that have already won.

I only watched a few of the movies that were nominated, but the highlights were:

1- Seeing how out of touch Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wigg were based on Billie Eilish’s face.

2- Eminem singing an 18 year old song made no sense but was still worth watching because he’s Eminem.

3- The Academy Awards almost marginalizes diversity and gender by basically pointing a giant neon arrow at any gender, sexuality or ethnicity, to make sure you know they aren’t racists. “The conductor of the band is a woman, that’s never happened before”…no one cares…even if they pretend to care…no one every said “They even use male conductors instead of women”….even though we didn’t know what gender they were because who gives a shit about the conductor…but the Oscars want you to, as they bring out the big names in female super heroes to introduce her. “LOOK WE HAVE A FEMALE CONDUCTOR”….it’s pretty silly…..represent everyone, even a Downs Syndrome kid who can’t read with Shia LeBeef…..just have him READ the prompter…it’s all so weird….

I was happy to see Parasite win basically everything because it wasn’t made in Hollywood. So it’s nice to see Hollywood and their money grubbing decisions that make them all richer and richer while not making the content richer or richer diluted. Big fan of that. You rich inflated ego fucks who control the content we digest aren’t as important as you think you are.

I do think Scorcese is the man though, but fuck Tarantino. I was happy to see Brad Pitt win. Bruce Dern’s sperm winning was whatever, she works hard and is in a lot of shit, but MARRIAGE STORY was the fucking worst thing I’ve ever seen, I mean that and the Elton John movie that sucks so much dick yet avoids the AIDS crisis. Isn’t that convenient.

I was happy to see Joaquin win, obviously, performance of the year. I wasn’t inspired by his speech or his shout out to River Phoenix, but I liked that it happened. Fuck Hollywood, but thank Hollywood cuz life is good when you’re rich and famous.

I am really glad ScarJo lost, MARRIAGE story was over written shit, even though the girl who played Harriet Tubman should have won, at least based on that list of nominees. Unfortunately, Zelweger won, her speech that of someone on uppers and downers at the same time, confusing and senseless….and the truth is that Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland’s daughter didn’t support Zelweger’s rendition of her mom, so why should the academy. Robbery…..and that Little Women shit that no one asked for is offensive to all Winona Ryder fans….we had Little Women already, keep it to your damn self.

I don’t remember anything else that happened, but when they shut the lights on the Make-Up artist about to do her speech, forcing her off in that peak in her career, even making Margot Robbie pretend to be moved, care or whatever…..oh and Martin Scorcese taking a nap was pretty good too.
