I hope none of you were out there talking politics this weekend because people are fucking nuts….
I made a comment to an old friend who I ran into – despite social distancing and keeping society separate laws – and said something along the lines of “Trump gets misquoted a lot”…not because I am a political expert, I avoid all that noise because the government will always hate the common peasant no matter who is in charge, plus I am Canadian…but out of the three press conferences I’ve seen Trump involved in, he sounded normal, even smart and focused and the next day the media ripped him apart…
Anyway, I told this old friend that, and not in a Pro Trump kind of way, but in a “that guy gets torn apart in the media and seems to know what he’s doing” kind of way…and my old friend, who is also Canadian…saw red and went on and on about how terrible a person he is and how he is the worst thing in the world since Hitler….a totally normal conversation prior to my “observation”….and we’re not even Americans….
